What support will and will not do

Good support builds trust by being clear about limits. TradeProfit can explain app workflows, but it should not ask for bank passwords or replace professional accounting advice.

Can TradeProfit help me set up my first company?

Yes. The first setup goal is simple: add your company, choose your trade, create or review sample jobs, then decide whether to upload transactions manually or connect a bank.

Can support give tax or accounting advice?

No. TradeProfit can explain how the app calculates daily cash, job profit, and gross margin. Use your accountant or CPA for tax, legal, and formal accounting decisions.

What should I send when asking for help?

Send the page you were on, what you expected to happen, what actually happened, and whether you are using manual CSV upload or a bank connection.

Will support ask for my bank password?

No. TradeProfit support should never ask for your bank password. Bank connection is handled through Plaid, and bank tokens stay server-side.
