TradeProfit is built for contractors who want clear profit answers without handing every person in the company access to everything. Here is the plain-English version of what is protected.

TradeProfit should help you understand cash and job profit. It should not hide bank tokens in the browser, delete data because billing is inactive, or pretend to replace your accountant.

Plaid access tokens are never sent to the browser. The app stores them through protected server code so owners and staff do not handle bank credentials directly.

Supabase row-level security scopes company records so users can only access companies they belong to.
Inactive billing does not delete data
If a subscription becomes inactive, users can still log in and view existing company records. Premium actions are blocked, but records are not erased.

Profit Foreman uses recorded jobs, transactions, revenue, expenses, and alerts. It is a business coach, not a replacement for a CPA or tax advisor.
TradeProfit is not full accounting software
The app focuses on daily cash, job profit, bank matching, and owner decisions. It is designed to work beside your bookkeeper, accountant, and accounting system.
Important actions are logged
TradeProfit records important events in audit logs so company activity can be reviewed when something changes.
Can my crew see another company's data?
No. Access is scoped by company membership. A user must belong to a company before they can see that company's private records.
Does TradeProfit store my online banking password?
No. Bank connection is handled through Plaid. TradeProfit stores server-side access tokens for import, not your bank login password.
What happens if I cancel?
You can still log in and view your data. Paid features are gated while the subscription is inactive, but company records are not deleted.
Should I use this instead of my accountant?
No. TradeProfit helps owners see cash, job profit, and matching work. Use your accountant or CPA for tax, legal, and formal accounting decisions.
